How does a company or group invest into InterRetire?

A company seeking to set up an international retirement plan can contact InterRetire enquiries@interretire.com or obtain professional advice from a financial intermediary approved to provide advice on the InterRetire Corporate retirement plan.

What are the first steps?

InterRetire representatives or your financial intermediary will discuss the key features of InterRetire and your company’s requirements, taking into account your company’s retirement planning, tax and investment requirements.

What are the next steps if InterRetire is a suitable plan for our company?

If InterRetire is established to be a suitable plan for your company, your financial intermediary will cover the following issues as part of the company retirement plan set up:

  1. Provide you with the legal documentation relating to the scheme
  2. Complete the required account opening documentation with you
  3. Advise you of the due diligence information that you will be required to submit with your application
  4. Discuss the various underlying investment options offered, so that you can make a choice which investment)
  5. Discuss the transfer of your regular payroll data to the Trustee and Administrators
  6. Discuss the InterRetire standard plan design and obtain further information from you in relation to the areas that can be tailored, such as the vesting period
  7. Complete and amend the standard InterRetire Retirement Plan Member Handbook and member communication. The InterRetire Handbook provides each employee with full details of your new employer pension plan.

What happens next?

The account opening forms and due diligence information, will be forwarded to either InterRetire or the Trustee of InterRetire.

Once the above process has been completed, the Trustee will contact you confirm the set up of the InterRetire company plan.

At same time InterRetire will assist the company with member communication including standard memos and staff handbook.

How are the employee enrolment forms processed and the company plan established?

Each employee will complete an enrolment form covering personal employee details, address and beneficiary information and initial investment choices to enable the Trustee to set up each employee in your new plan.

As well as regular employer and employee contributions, employees can elect to contribute additional regular or personal lump sum contributions.

Once the Trustee has processed the enrolment forms and the company is notified the first payroll file can be forwarded by the company to the Trustee and Administrator.

How do our employees and we gain access to their pension plan details?

Once your InterRetire employer retirement plan has been established, your employees have been accepted as members and your first payroll contribution has been processed, members will be forwarded separately details of their Account Name and Password to enable members to access their accounts online.

This account number and password enable the employee to access their personal records and investment portfolio online. They will be able to gain access to their online account through the login button labelled
My Account
located on the top right hand side of the InterRetire web site.

The site is fully secure and only the employee, InterRetire Ltd and service providers will have access to your employees account details.

The employee will be able to view their personal data as well as the current value of their retirement plan and a history of activity on their account together with copies of investment fact sheets and other company documents.
